Union Assurance goes for share sub division

Union Assurance Plc yesterday announced that its Board of Directors has resolved to increase the number of shares by way of a share sub division.

The move which is subject to shareholder approval will increase the number of ordinary shares in issue to 75 million from 37.5 million as at present.

The company’s shares yesterday dipped by Rs. 8.60 to Rs. 226.40 on a volume of 700 shares.
