SLIM organises leadership program with world-renowned trainer

Sri Lanka Institute of Marketing (SLIM) has organised a leadership training program titled ‘Leaders as Coaches’, to be conducted by an internationally renowned personality with more than 20 years of experience as a trainer, facilitator and coach. The program, to be carried out on 7 June, is designed to develop the performance and productivity of professionals in leadership and managerial roles and generally any person interested in learning the art of coaching people. It aims to introduce a new wave of leadership by creating leaders capable of using coaching skills as a tool in achieving organisational goals and will include role play and case study analysis. Shan, Founder of Team Coach International Sdn. Bhd. Is also a member of the Board of Governors, International Association of coaching and one of the leading trainers in the South East Asian region will conduct the sessions. He has conducted similar sessions for participants across the Asian region on various aspects of leadership, team development and performance coaching. A much sought after speaker, he has addressed local and international seminars and conferences and in addition to his various other qualifications, holds a Masters degree in Human Resource Management from University of Canberra. Enhancing leadership skills Speaking about his arrival in Sri Lanka, Shan said: “I am pleased to see the level of interest among Sri Lankans in enhancing their leadership skills through training.
