Free fuel for one year: HSBC announces weekly winners

HSBC recently announced the weekly winners of its popular ‘free fuel for one year’ campaign, which began in October this year. Winners included Shamalee A. Yapa, D.M.P. Welikala, K. Gayani Abeywickrama, D.K. Nuwanjith Senadeera and A.

Wijesinghe, who were selected through five weekly draws for free fuel rebates in 2011.

The ongoing promotion that ends on 31 December, 2010, promises to reward weekly winners with four times of their weekly fuel spend with a maximum rebate of Rs. 25,000 per month for the whole of 2011.

Yapa, whose fuel spend was topped up to Rs. 14, 688 per month for the whole of next year, stated, “It’s a great promotion and having free fuel for one year is amazing. I live in Thalawathugoda and travelling to Colombo makes me think twice, but now that HSBC provides me with free fuel, I can travel anywhere. I feel lucky and blessed to be a winner. “
