CIC Group profit blooms to a billion in landmark FY 2011

CIC Holdings Plc has blossomed itself to achieve a Rs. 1.17 billion Group after tax profit in “landmark” financial year ended on 31 March, 2011.

The Group’s pre-tax profit was Rs. 1.63 billion, up from Rs. 1.08 billion in the 2010 financial year. Consolidated revenue in FY 2011 topped the Rs. 20 billion mark to finish with Rs. 21.04 billion, up 26.7% from Rs. 16.6 billion a year earlier. Net profit attributable to equity holders of CIC was Rs. 928.6 million as against Rs. 589.5 million.
