Chamber of Construction Industry Sri Lanka holds 19th AGM

The Chamber of Construction Industry of Sri Lanka held its 19th Annual General Meeting on 7 July at the Hotel Galadari, Colombo.

The Chamber was first established in 2001 as a company by guarantee and in 2019 was incorporated by an Act of Parliament. It has all the stakeholders in the industry under its wing including statutory organisations. It has in its fold local corporate and International corporate members conducting business in Sri Lanka. This Chamber has positioned itself as the main voice on issues affecting the construction industry and is committed to protecting and promoting the construction industry. 

The President and the Board of Management with guidance from the Council has done much to mitigate the situation in these turbulent times of economic uncertainty and it continually is at the forefront of issues confronting the Construction Industry Sector.    

The AGM was continued in an atmosphere of cordiality and the elected Council would conduct its business for another year till end of 2024.
