Sri Lanka Shipping Company Pays Tribute to Seafarers on Seafarers’ Day 2026

As the world marks the International Day of the Seafarer 2026, Sri Lanka Shipping Company Limited (SLSC), a subsidiary of the Advantis Group, the transportation and logistics arm of Hayleys PLC, pays tribute to the maritime professionals whose dedication and resilience continue to sustain global trade under increasingly complex operating conditions.

This year’s International Maritime Organisation (IMO) theme, “Carrying World Trade. Carrying the Risks,” recognises the indispensable role seafarers play in maintaining the flow of goods across the world while navigating the challenges and uncertainties that accompany modern maritime operations.
