Southbeach Weligama, Sri Lanka’s most exciting new freehold address on the southern coast has just completed its superstructure, readying for scheduled completion in 2024.  

Despite Sri Lanka undergoing considerable challenges since construction began, the project remained well on its timeframe at every milestone point of construction including the completion of the superstructure. 

Southbeach Weligama entered the into the real estate market when investor confidence in the country was at very low levels. “We’ve always believed in a bright future for Sri Lanka and continue to do so because the country is one of the most beautiful in the world and has so much to offer. And it’s nice to see this reflected by the demand from all over the world,” says Balmond Studio Director and Southbeach Weligama Managing Director John Balmond. “We pushed forward against all odds because of this. With the project being on time, our investors bought into our confidence and we thank them for their belief in the project and Sri Lanka.” 

Balmond commended Buildmart Lanka Ltd., which is the construction company and CSEC, the engineering and project management team, who were instrumental in ensuring timelines were met.
