Penteng celebrates 30 years in business

Penteng Ltd., formerly known as “Penthouse Engineers” has announced the celebration of 30 years in business marking a significant milestone in the business of providing quality and reliable engineering services.

Since our modest beginnings in 1993, we have striven to provide residential and commercial engineering solutions maintaining high standards, from project conception to completion. On this journey, we have developed strong relationships with the private and public sectors as well as the local communities in which we operate; making our business an integral part of the growth of the construction industry in Sri Lanka. We have also ventured into regional markets and have completed several commercial and public sector projects in the Maldives.

Penteng is a long-standing member of the National Construction Association in Sri Lanka and is graded under “C3” by the Construction Industry Development Authority. As an ISO9001-certified business, we maintain a fully equipped workshop with highly skilled workers who specialise in areas including the operation of heavy machinery, heavy steel fabrication, shearing, bending and rolling of steel.

“On this special occasion, we honour the memory of the late Neil Fernando who served as the Chairman from year 1993 to 2021 whose dedication and business acumen have deeply impacted the firm›s strategic direction over the years,” said Managing Director Rohan Samarasinghe, has been with Penteng since its inception and continues to be the driving force of its future. 

His background as a mechanical engineer and 40+ years of experience in the Engineering industry make him an invaluable asset to the continued growth of the business.
