Mireka Seascape, a luxury coastal residential development by Overseas Realty (Ceylon) PLC, marked a significant milestone by celebrating the commencement of main building construction at a traditional groundbreaking ceremony held on 15 October 2026 in Dodanduwa. This follows the successful completion of piling works and obtaining all government regulatory approvals, including approvals from the Coast Conservation and Coastal Resource Management Department and the Urban Development Authority (UDA).

As part of this milestone, Sanken Construction, a leading construction company in Sri Lanka, was appointed as the main contractor for the development.
