Global Vinyl Ltd., has recently expanded its impressive product range with the introduction of their Luxury SPC Flooring (Stone Plastic Composite), a breakthrough innovation in the Sri Lankan flooring market.
The Luxury SPC Flooring collection is available in a range of elegant finishes designed to suit diverse interiors, from the rich tones of Dark Walnut, Antique Walnut, and Classic Walnut, to the refined warmth of Pinewood, Sierra Oak, and Sandstone Oak. For lighter, contemporary spaces, Almond White, Hazelnut, Rustic Grey, and Nordik Oak offer sleek and modern aesthetics. Each design captures the timeless texture of natural wood while providing the practicality and resilience of SPC innovation.
Luxury SPC Flooring offers a range of benefits that set it apart from traditional materials such as tile or wood. It is 100% waterproof, fire retardant, anti-slip, scratch resistant, and easy to maintain, making it ideal for both residential and commercial interiors. Eco-friendly and non-volatile, it provides a safe, low-maintenance, and long-lasting flooring solution that enhances both beauty and functionality in modern living spaces.
Since the launch, some of the projects have already had SPC flooring installed at their premises since it was introduced to the market, includes the work with Access Engineering, Walters Bay, Touch of Gold store, Happy Smile Dental, some of the Barista Coffee shops and the Costa Coffee at BIA, and several others who are currently in the process of installation.
The Company’s extensive portfolio includes synthetic leather and PVC sheeting, vinyl flooring and rolls, Luxury Vinyl Tiles (LVT), vinyl planks and tiles, and other PVC-based products such as car matting, roofing felt, geomembranes, and tent fabrics.
While the domestic market remains the company’s core focus, Global Vinyl is actively expanding its international reach. In past decades, its synthetic leather products were exported to Bangladesh, Mauritius, and Pakistan. Today, its advanced flooring lines are being positioned for export to Middle Eastern and African markets, reflecting the company’s growing regional ambitions.
The global vinyl flooring market is entering a period of rapid expansion, projected to reach $ 116.83 billion by 2033. This presents significant potential for Sri Lanka to position itself as an emerging player in this growing sector. Global Vinyl’s business model aligns closely with the country’s national priorities of boosting local manufacturing, reducing import dependence, and increasing exports. With the launch of Luxury SPC Flooring, the company reaffirms its role as a showcase for Sri Lankan innovation, craftsmanship, and sustainable industrial growth.
