SJMS Toastmasters Club installation of office bearers for 2014/2015

SJMS Toastmasters club’s new executive committee for 2014/ 2015 was installed recently at Access Towers, Colombo. Chief Guest of the ceremony was Ranjit Pandithage Chairman & CEO of DIMO Ltd, and the Governor for Toastmaster District 82, Distinguished Toastmaster Yusuf Jeewanjee was the guest of honour. The event was also graced by the Toastmaster District 82 officials, Partners of SJMS Associates, T. Someswaran, the founder partner of SJMS Associates, and other distinguished toastmasters.

When organisations embarked on a mission to harness the power of effective public speaking for their staff personal and professional advancement, world’s leading communication and leadership-skill building organisation – Toastmasters is undoubtedly at forefront facilitating the stepping stone. The newly elected President Kumarajeeva, with many objectives for forthcoming year, elaborated on the theme for the year, ‘Individually we are one drop..but together we are an ocean…’ highlighting the true spirit of the very existence of this Toastmasters’ initiative and its energetic customs it’s founded upon. The new Executive Committee comprised Thakshila Kumarajeewa (President), Ruwan Wickramasinghe (Vice President – Education), Sameera Warnakulasuriya (Vice President – Membership), Loshinie Pirathapan (Vice President – Public Relationship), Arosha Berugoda (Secretary), Jazmi Khalid (Treasurer) and Sanjeewa Lokuge (Sergeant-at-Arms).
