Sinhala book on Gandhara heritage of Pakistan launched

A new book on the Gandhara heritage of Pakistan written by renowned Sri Lankan journalist Chandana Wijekoon was presented by the author to Pakistan’s High Commissioner Maj. Gen. Qasim Qureshi at the High Commission of Pakistan on 6 December 2013. The book titled ‘The Glory That Was Gandhara’ is in the Sinhala language and presents highly useful information on the rich Buddhist culture of Gandhara.
