Perfecting moves prae-celebration

Rehearsals for the 66th Independence Day ceremony was held yesterday in Kegalle, in preparation for today. Pictures show the military parade perfecting their moves for today’s celebrations. Held under the theme of ‘Ekwa Godanagamu-Lowa Dinana Deshayak’ (Let us unite to build a world conquering country,’ Department of Government information revealed that 1400 Army officers, 250 each from the Navy, Air Force, Police service and the Civil Defense Force  along with 300 members of the National Youth Corps will take part in the military parade.
