Diversified local conglomerate, Ceyoka Ltd’s foray into the construction sector through its subsidiary Ceyoka Engineering has helped to establish an industry frontrunner backed by an impeccable track record for all types of construction activities. 

Despite its beginning in 2013, as a startup, Ceyoka Engineering is an ICTADC4 grading holder for Buildings, Highway and Water Supply and Drainage and C7 for Bridges, Irrigation and Land Drainage, Drainage and Reclamation, and Storm Water Drainage.

Coupled with ISO Certification 9001: 2008 certification and as a recognised member of the National Construction Association of Sri Lanka, the company aims to pursue and execute projects which are strategic in nature and vast in magnitude in terms of contract value.

Ceyoka’s construction division is recognised for its professional client-focused solutions exceeding expectations on every project and delivering on promises. The company has grown dramatically during the last two years and has become a reputed contractor in the construction industry.

Ceyoka’s construction unit has grown today to encompass a team of over 86 dedicated employees, experts at driving projects forward at the right pace. These include highly qualified, experienced and well trained consultants, chartered engineers, surveyors, project managers etc.

As a versatile contractor, the company undertakes building construction, highway construction, water supply and drainage works, land development works and bridge construction.

Ceyoka’s first construction venture was building the ground reservoir capacity for the Wariyapola water supply scheme. To-date Ceyoka’s scope of work includes various infrastructure development projects such as the construction of the Nugegoda-Raththanapitiya canal station, the laying of distribution extensions for the connection enhancement project in Kandy Region, the rehabilitation of the storm water drain at Guilford Crescent, Colombo 07 and the construction of the water supply scheme at Kamburawala for the Palinda Nuwara – Pradeshiya Sabha. 

The company has also benefitted through the backing of one of the industry’s biggest players, Nawaloka Construction. Through Nawaloka Construction’s excellent reputation and wealth of knowledge in the construction sector, Ceyoka has been able to participate in bigger projects.

These include the construction of the four storied building for Lanka Clear at Malabe, constructing service drains and laying asphalt wearing course for internal port road widening project in the Port of Colombo, constructing phase IV building for the Faculty of Architecture, Department of Architecture University of Moratuwa, a land development project at Piliyandala, construction of the Madurupitiya Bridge over Attanagalu Oya on Attanagalla – Algama – Bogahamulla – Madurupitiya road in lieu of the existing causeway.
