Kukuleganga Tea Factory achieved an all-time record price of Rs. 720 per kilogram for BOPF grade in the Low Grown category at the auction held on 14 October, surpassing the previous record price of Rs. 650. This invoice was purchased by Ceylon Tea Marketing Ltd., and this sale was conducted by Ceylon Tea Brokers PLC who is the sole broker for Kukuleganga Tea Factory teas. Kukuleganga Tea Factory is renowned for manufacture of good quality teas and this factory is situated in Kalawana in the Ratnapura District.
