TMC Mount, Colombo and Board of Management to hold AGMs on 19 Aug. on Zoom

The Management Club Mount Lavinia, Colombo and the Board of Management will hold their AGMs on 19 August commencing at 6 p.m., 6:30 and 7 p.m. respectively. All arrangements are being made now and the notice of meetings will be sent on 5 August to the membership of both clubs and the members of the Board of Management.

The Management Club would seek the participation of all the members at relevant AGMs in order that the meetings are concluded successfully. The two clubs (for the moment) will nominate their Executive Committees for the year 2021/2022 and quite naturally the support and cooperation of the membership would be imperative to see the dawn of the 20th anniversary of The Management Club early next year.

The Clubs are planning on bringing back the structure that prevailed in the early years of TMC and that is to select and nominate an operations committee of six members from each club in order to support the executive committees and from which such members will have the opportunity of being invited to serve the executive committees. This move also lends credence to the objectives of The Management Club in developing leadership amongst the members.
