Muzammil has said that the UNP would carry out its duties in serving the people and meeting their expectations through the CMC.

“We will honour the promises made to the people and serve them in the manner they expect the CMC to function,” he has observed.  He has added that the candidates who won and lost at the elections would be given an opportunity to work equally for the development of the city.  Muzammil has said the party managed to win the CMC elections since everyone worked together at the elections, adding that the party members engaged in the election campaign amidst much difficulty.
