Kuwait: Sri Lanka Thursday entered into a USD 17 million (KD 5.5 million) loan agreement with the Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development (KFAED) for financing of Kalu Ganga Development Project, the KFAED said in a statement.
The Supplementary Loan Agreement was signed today in Kuwait by Secretary, Ministry of Finance Dr. RHS Samaratunga on behalf of Sri Lanka and Deputy Director-General of KFAED Hamad Al-Omar on behalf of the Fund to assist in financing the additional costs of Kalu Ganga Development Project.
