Lanka Transformers, a subsidiary of Ceylon Electricity Board (CEB), has constructed two 100 MW power plants in Dakar, Bangladesh.

This picture shows one of the furnace oil power plants, constructed at a cost of US$ 92 million, which began operations recently. The CEB noted that the plants were completed ahead of schedule and equipped using Sri Lankan expertise
