SLPI panel discussion to mark World Press Freedom Day tomorrow

The Sri Lanka Press Institute (SLPI) will hold a panel discussion tomorrow from 9.00 a.m. to 11.00 a.m. to commemorate the World Press Freedom Day which falls on 3 May 2013. The panel will focus on the UNESCO theme for 2013 World Press Freedom Day, “Safe to speak: Securing freedom of expression in all media”. The panellists at the discussion to be held at SLPI Auditorium at 96, Kirula Road, Colombo 5 are Sunday Times Deputy Editor Ameen Izzadeen, Sunday Leader Editor-in-Chief Shakuntala Perera, Derana TV Head of News Shehan Baranage, www.vikalpa.org Chief Editor Sampath Samarakoon and TNL Radio Network Head of News Sunesh Rodrigo.
