Chairman of the Securities and Exchange Commission Dr. Nalaka Godahewa resi

gned yesterday. His move was to allow the new Government to appoint a suitable successor. Godahewa’s resignation had been submitted to the Ministry of Finance. He was appointed SEC Chairman in August 2012.
