Rajitha and son ordered in Court

The Colombo High Court yesterday issued notice on Minister of Health Rajitha Senaratna and his son Eksath Senaratna to appear before the court on 2 April over the alleged abduction of an underage girl. The Court issued notice on 14 respondents, including the Minister and his son, named in a petition filed by the parents of the girl in question.Senaratne had earlier denied the charges describing it as a mudslinging campaign against him after all he did to topple the former Government and claimed that the girl had gone to his son to seek refuge from her parents.
