President participates in Sangika Dana near Ruwanweliseya

President Mahinda Rajapaksa yesterday participated a sangika dana to 1000 bikkhus near the Ruwanweli Seya in Anuradhapura to mark the first anniversary of the Swarnamali Danveta Program organised by the S.M. Chandrasena Foundation in association with the Sivuhela Buddhist Foundation. The Danveta program was launched on 19 November 2011 to mark the President’s birthday and invoke blessings on him.
