President of Korea National Defence University signs MoU with KDU

A top level delegation headed by Korea National Defence University (KNDU) President Lieutenant General Seung Ho Wee, visited Sri Lanka from 2 to 5 October. On Monday 3 October, the delegation paid a courtesy call on the State Minister of Defence Ruwan Wijewardena and Secretary to the Minister of Defence Eng. Karunasena Hettiarchchi. During the cordial meetings, the two sides discussed ways to strengthen bilateral cooperation in the field of national defence.

On Tuesday 4 October, the delegation also held a bilateral meeting with high-ranking officers of the General Sir Kotelawala Defence University (KDU), and a memorandum of understand (MoU) was signed with the aim of further promoting the defence cooperation between the two universities.
