President in Aussie for CHOGM 2011

President Mahinda Rajapaksa arrived yesterday (24) at the Perth International Airport to attend CHOGM 2011 in Australia. The President and First Lady Madam Shiranthi Rajapaksa were welcomed by Senator for Western Australia Mark Bishop and Elizabeth Behjat, Member of the Western Australian Parliament, at the airport.

Two Sri Lankan children, Rumesha and Chanula, welcomed the President and First Lady. Consul for Western Australia D. Frank Crawley, High Commissioner Admiral Thisara Samarasinghe and Deputy High Commissioner A.L. Rathnapala were also present – Pic by Sudath Silva
