The National Chamber will conduct a CEO Forum on the theme ‘Changing Skyline of Colombo - Opportunities for the Private Sector’ on Thursday 7 August from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the National Chamber Auditorium, 450 D.R. Wijewardene Mw, Colombo 10. The special Guest will be. Nimal Perera, Chairman, Urban Development Authority and assisted by Nihal Fernando, Deputy Director General (Projects) & the Technical Team of Urban Development Authority. Phenomenal changes are taking place in the infrastructure of Colombo, such as the new look on the Dutch Hospital, extensive and innovative changes to the Race Course, and the latest addition - Arcade Independence Square are some of the ultra modern and futuristic projects which are making a great transformation to the skyline of Colombo. Many visitors are surprised to see changes already effected to Colombo. The process of beautification, cleanliness, orderly streamlining and spectacular environmental change are already visible. Exporters and investors have expressed their delight at the unfolding transformation and are confident that tomorrow’s Colombo will attract foreign customers and potential investors into the country as they are sure to form a highest opinion of our capital city for quality, modern comfort and excellence in infrastructure.
