JVP to release book on history of labour movement

The Janatha Vimukthi Peramuna (JVP) will launch a book on the history of the trade union movement in the country. The JVP will launch the book on 10 October at the Public Library Auditorium. The book launch will be held under the patronage of JVP General Secretary Tilvin Silva, party sources said. JVP sources said that the people need to know the history of the trade union movement in the country and the struggles that have been carried out to win rights for the working masses.
