JVP to hold 50 seminars

The Janatha Vimukthi Peramuna (JVP) has planned to hold 50 seminars around the country. The theme of the seminars is ‘The Heritage of Rohana Wijeweera that We Protect.’

The first of the series of seminars will be held today at 3.30 p.m. at the Colombo Public Library Auditorium. The first public lecture of the seminar series is delivered by Chameera Koswaththa, a member of the JVP central committee.

JVP rebels say they will have pocket meetings as well in addition to the 50 major seminars. The publicity posters of the first seminar say that the organizing body is We of Left Study Circle. (Colombo Page)
