Climate Change is a global environmental issue and we all have to pay special attention towards the adaptation measures on how we better face the impact of climate change. The Sri Lanka Red Cross Society has organised a national level seminar on ‘Good practices for Climate Change Adaptation Sri Lanka’ in order to share knowledge and experiences among the different stakeholders. This was held at BMICH recently with the participation of university academics, policymaking bodies and leading civil society members, and prepared an outcome document with the recommendations of the participants. These recommendations were presented to the Secretary and the senior staff of the Ministry of Environment.
