Court rejects bail application by Sajin Vass

A bail application filed by former Parliamentarian Sajin Vass Gunawardena was rejected yesterday by the Colombo High Court.

Last month a Fundamental Rights petition (FR) filed by Gunawardena was also rejected by the Supreme Court.

Gunawardena has challenged his arrest and detention over fraud allegations.
