UPFA appoints Duminda Dissanayake as Treasurer

Duminda Dissanayake has been appointed as the Treasurer of the United People’s Freedom Alliance (UPFA).Sri Lanka Freedom Party (SLFP) spokesman Weerakumara Dissanayake said that Duminda Dissanayake was appointed to the post at the UPFA Executive Committee meeting chaired by President Maithripala Sirisena.Prior to Dissanayake’s appointment, Anura Priyadarshana Yapa held the position, but the latter now works closely with the Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP). Duminda Dissanayake is also the National Organizer of the Sri Lanka Freedom Party.
