UNP alleges Govt. used violence against peaceful protestors

The United National Party (UNP) today condemned the cowardly attacks by pro-Government supporters against the peaceful protesters at Galle Face.
In a statement the UNP said the people are asking the Government for a solution to the crisis, but the Government resorted to violence.
