Travel restrictions implemented to prevent the spread of COVID-19 were further relaxed yesterday, with several places, including places of worship, zoological gardens, and wildlife parks permitted to open with adherence to health guidelines.

According to a circular issued by the Director-General of Health Services, guidelines on religious festivals will be issued separately.

Zoological gardens can operate at 25% capacity, while children’s parks, adventure and camping sites, and betting centres are permitted to operate without any specific capacity limits.

Wildlife parks will be open, with specifications about safari vehicles detailed in the guidelines.

Sports tournaments and group sports activities are permitted with the exception of sports where physical contact occurs. However, spectators and supporters will not be permitted.

Indoor concerts will be permitted at 50% seating capacity but outdoor concerts and carnivals will not be permitted.
