Top delegation from JCI Asia Pacific Development Council in SL

A delegation of 11 officers from the Junior Chamber International (JCI) Asia Pacific Development Council (APDC) has arrived in Sri Lanka to conduct a Leadership Training Academy on 16 and 17 May at the Best Western Hotel, Colombo. 

Members of JCI Sri Lanka representing their respective chapters will benefit immensely from this international leadership and training experience.

The visit is also aimed at ascertaining the suitability of Sri Lanka being admitted as a full member of JCI. It is hoped that Sri Lanka will be granted this opportunity at the JCI World Congress to be held in the Philippines later this year.

During their stay, the delegation will also visit several JCI projects conducted by local chapters in Sri Lanka. 

In addition, JCI Senate Sri Lanka hosted the delegation for dinner on 16 May in appreciation of their visit and contribution towards leadership development.

The APDC delegation comprises: JCI Hong Kong, China APDC 2025–2026 Councillor Wong Wing Sze Vincy, Mission 2 Coordinator and JCI Macao, China APDC 2025–2026  Development Officer Vivienne Ng, JCI Bangladesh APDC 2025–2026 Development Officer Md Altamis Nabil, JCI Cambodia APDC 2025–2026 Development Officer Te Porguech, JCI India APDC 2025–2026 Development Officers Irshad Kulathan Kuzhiyil and Shiva Ganesh Karnati, JCI Japan APDC 2025–2026 Development Officer Kentaro Kakitsuka, JCI Mongolia APDC 2025–2026 Development Officer Bayandelger Batzaya, JCI Nepal APDC 2025–2026 Development Officer Saroj Chaurasiya, JCI Taiwan APDC 2025–2026 Development Officer Yun Jui Lin, and JCI Japan APDC 2025–2026 Special Assistant Hiroshi Matsugashita.
