Top Chinese official meets PM with message from Beijing

China Foreign Ministry Department of Asian Affairs Director-General Wu Jianghao called on Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa yesterday.

Wu Jianghao is a Special Representative of the State Council of the People’s Republic of China and has previously served as an Ambassador to Sri Lanka.

Prime Minister’s Media Unit stated that the Prime Minister met with Jianghao at the Temple Trees.

Chinese Ambassador to Sri Lanka Cheng Xueyuan, Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP) Chairman Prof. G.L. Peiris and Prime Minister’s Secretary Gamini Senarath were also present at the meeting.
