Ilankai Tamil Arasu Kadchi (ITAK) Member of Parliament Shanakiyan Rajaputhiran Rasamanickam and ITAK General Secretary M.A. Sumanthiran have met Norwegian Deputy Foreign Minister Andreas Kravik for discussions on recent political developments and bilateral engagement.
In a post on ‘X’ (formerly Twitter), Rasamanickam said the talks covered a broad range of issues, including accountability, reconciliation and the importance of advancing meaningful political solutions.
He said discussions also focused on prospects for continued engagement between Sri Lanka and Norway and acknowledged Norway’s ongoing interest in developments in the country.
“Also discussed future engagement and cooperation with Norway. Appreciate the continued attention and the role of Ambassador May-Elin Stener in strengthening ties,” Rasamanickam said in his post on ‘X’.
