Seven COVID-19 fatalities confirmed

Health officials confirmed seven COVID-19 fatalities on Thursday, raising the country’s COVID-19 death toll to 16,381.

Epidemiology Unit data shows that 76.26% of the total COVID-19 deaths are over 60 years, 22.42% are between 30 and 59 years, and 1.32% are below 30 years.

Six COVID-19 fatalities confirmed on Thursday were from the over-60 age group and one was from the 30 to 59 age group. Zero COVID-19 deaths were confirmed from the under-30 age group on Thursday.

The Department of Government Information states that five COVID-19 fatalities confirmed on Thursday were male and two were female. Of the total COVID-19 deaths, 9,232 are male and 7,149 are female.
