Russian Health Minister arrives on three-day official visit

Russian Health Minister Mikhail Murashko arrived in Sri Lanka yesterday on a three-day official visit, accompanied by a delegation.

The delegation landed at Bandaranaike International Airport at around 10:20 a.m. on an Aeroflot flight from Moscow and was received at the VIP terminal by Science and Technology Minister Prof. Chrishantha Abeysena, Health Secretary Dr. Anil Jasinghe, and Russian Ambassador to Sri Lanka Levan S. Dzhagaryan, among others.

During the visit, Murashko is scheduled to hold discussions with Health and Mass Media Minister Dr. Nalinda Jayatissa and Foreign Affairs Minister Vijitha Herath.

The delegation is also expected to visit the National Hospital of Colombo and the Faculty of Medicine.
