Renganathan re-elected for second year as Sri Lanka India Society President

At the Annual General Meeting of the Sri Lanka India Society held on 29 September, at the Hotel Taj, members unanimously elected former Commercial Bank of Ceylon Managing Director S. Renganathan as the President, while Manil Jayesinghe and A. Kailasapillai were elected as the Secretary and Treasurer, respectively, for the second year.

On behalf of the Patron of the Society, Indian High Commissioner Santosh Jha and Indian High Commission in Sri Lanka Counsellor (Consular) Sanjeev Arora attended the AGM and addressed the gathering.

The Sri Lanka India Society is one of the oldest and largest friendship societies between Sri Lanka and India.
