Opposition MP Ravi Karunanayake yesterday told Parliament that former President Ranil Wickremesinghe had undergone a surgical procedure.
Making a statement during the debate on regulations under the Port City Commission Act, Karunanayake said the surgery had been completed successfully.
He also extended wishes for the former President’s recovery.
Wickremesinghe is reported to have undergone the procedure in Singapore.
