President pays homage to Sri Maha Bodhiya 

President Ranil Wickremesinghe paid homage to the historic Jaya Sri Maha Bodhi on Saturday and received blessings.

Later, he took park in the traditional “Aluth Sahal Mangalyaya” (New Rice Festival) in Anuradhapura. 

He also called on the Chief Incumbent of Atamasthana Venerable Pallegama Hemarathana Thero to inquire about his well-being and engaged in a brief discussion.
