Pope Leo XIV has praised the ceasefire between Israel and Lebanon after a mass outside Angola’s capital, Luanda, which drew about 100,000 people.
He said the 10-day ceasefire that came into effect last Thursday is a “reason for hope.”
Last week, Pope Leo called on world leaders to reject war as a means of settling their differences, urging a global commitment to peace.
