Police release revised service fees

Sri Lanka Police has announced revised fees for services offered to the public.

A Police Clearance Report for overseas travel or related real-time services will now be issued at Rs. 5,000.

Fees for broadcast permits will depend on usage time: Rs. 500 for up to six hours, Rs. 1,000 for six to 12 hours, and Rs. 2,000 for more than 12 hours.

Divisional Police stations will issue reports required by Middle Eastern countries at Rs. 500, while reports provided by an Officer-in-Charge for domestic purposes will cost Rs. 300.

Copies of complaints can be obtained at Rs. 50 each.

Police have asked the public to request official receipts for all payments made for these services.
