The Cabinet of Ministers at their meeting on Monday approved the appointment of W.R.N.R. Premachandra as the new Director General (DG) of the Department of Buildings. She will assume duties following the retirement of current DG K.G. Sandhya Kumudini, effective 2 June.
Premachandra is a senior officer in the Sri Lanka Engineering Service and has been serving as the Additional Secretary (Technical) to the Defence Ministry.
