A team of Sri Lankan Navy personnel have arrested two individuals with over 126 kilos of Kerala cannabis (Kerala ganja) in the north on Sunday.
The naval personnel attached to the North Central Naval Command apprehended the two individuals with 126.695 kilos of Kerala cannabis during a raid carried out at Udayapuram area in Mannar.The suspects and the haul of Kerala cannabis have been handed over to the Pesalai Police for onward legal action.
The naval personnel attached to the Northern Naval Command also apprehended two persons on Saturday along with 233kg of Kerala cannabis during a patrol in the seas off Vethalaikarni.
