Namal, SLPP and SJB MPs in Odisha to participate in Indian Republic Day

At the invitation of India, a group of MPs from the Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP) and Samagi Jana Balaya (SJB) is in Indian State of Odisha to celebrate the Indian Republic Day, which falls on 26 January.

The delegation includes SLPP National Organiser and MP Namal Rajapaksa, MPs Chitral Fernando, Chamindrani Kiriella, Chathura Galappaththi, and Prasad Siriwardana, former SLPP MPs Indika Anuruddha, Sanjeewa Edirimanna, Sampath Athukorala, and Politburo Member Milinda Rajapaksha.

The group is also scheduled to join an observation tour of the Odisha Disaster Management Centre, one of the world’s best disaster management centres, and a tour to view Buddhist antiquities dating back to the time of King Asoka.
