Mask mandate in outdoor places removed

COVID-19 guidelines have been revised, no longer making it compulsory for persons to wear face masks in outdoor places, the Health Ministry stated, adding that several COVID-19 restrictions were lifted yesterday.

According to health officials, masks will continue to be mandatory for indoor places or activities and public transport.

In addition to this, temperature checks and submission of personal details will no longer be necessary when persons enter buildings.
