President of the Maldives Dr. Mohamed Muizzu yesterday held a telephone conversation with President Anura Kumara Dissanayake.
He expressed his sorrow over the severe hardships faced by the people of Sri Lanka due to the devastating floods and landslides caused by Cyclone Ditwah.
He also stated that the Maldives will extend its fullest support to provide relief to the affected people, as well as during Sri Lanka’s rebuilding process.
Dr. Muizzu told Dissanayake that Sri Lanka, as a sister nation, will not be left alone at any time.
