Statements were recorded from two judges implicated in the controversial recordings of Parliamentarian Ranjan Ramanayake by the Colombo Crimes Division (CCD) yesterday.

Justice Gihan Pilapitiya was questioned for five hours by the CCD, which also recorded a statement from retired judge Padmini Ranawaka on the matter following a directive issued by Attorney General Dappula de Livera.
