The 2026 Junior Chamber International (JCI) Asia-Pacific Conference (ASPAC) was held in Niigata, Japan, from 11 to 14 June, with a record participation of over 8,000 delegates from 50 countries.

The highlight of the conference was the presence of former Japanese Prime Minister Japan Taro Aso, who is an icon of the Jaycee Movement, who addressed the closing General Assembly with his signature presence and wisdom. There was a six-member delegation from Sri Lanka attending the conference, led by JCI Wellawatte President Inshira Isfahani as Chief Delegate.

Isfahani was honoured with a rare opportunity to meet and speak with former Prime Minister Aso, thanks to the longstanding relationship with 1989 JCI World President Isfahani Sameen.
